My Europe: Italy

Digital event series lets you discover Europe

Termin: | 19:00 - 20:30

My Europe' is an interactive digital series of events that invites its guests to discover Europe.
How does it work? It's simple: We talk to young people from various countries about Europe and their personal topics of interest. The topics are as diverse as the speakers and can range from current political and social developments through culture and science to one's own commitment to greater tolerance or solidarity. In addition to the given topic, all participants can also vote live on other topics and ask questions on the evening itself.

On 28 September, Annalisa Geraci will take the audience on a virtual journey to Italy. Annalisa is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in international law at the University of Teramo (Italy, Abruzzo Region). She graduated in International Political Science and Administration in 2014. After graduation, she continued her activities in academia as a PhD student in EU law and international law, delving into the migration crisis and EU policies and legislation in the Common European Asylum System. In recent years, she has participated in several conferences and workshops around Europe (Utrecht, Lisbon and Paris). Italy is the first destination of many refugees arriving in Europe via the Mediterranean Sea. Annalisa will talk about migration and integration in Italy, also focusing on the common European responsibility. On 28 September, Annalisa Geraci will take the audience on a virtual journey to Italy.
